C2 level Reading – If I could tell you just one thing
Let’s read the introduction and maybe the first chapter together in our first lesson with this book.
After reading the introduction answer: What is the book about? What does the writer talk about at the beginning and why? What is the cairn a symbol of?
There are about 60 different chapters, each about one famous person.
After reading each chapter answer the following four questions:
1. The main piece of advice from the famous person.
2. What this tells you about his or her personality.
3. What you think of the advice.
4. What you learnt about the famous person: (nationality, career, interests, hobbies, achievements).
