When do we use indirect questions, or forms?
We use them for being polite. To be nice.

Structure
- subject + verb (we switch the auxiliary verb with the subject)
- auxiliary do, does and did is not used in the indirect form
- We can also use if / whether, in an indirect question
Examples of indirect phrases and questions
Can you tell me what time it is?
Could you tell me where the lift is?
I can’t remember where we parked the car.
Do you think your friend would like the gift.
I wonder where your friend lives.
I’m not sure what your friend’s name is.
Would you mind telling me how much you paid for your car.
