Blue and yellow lights from space
Look at a night picture and describe its colours.

Your goal: practise there is and there are.
A picture at night
What are the blue lights?
1NASA shared a new picture on 30 September. It is a picture from space. It shows Earth at night. There are blue lights and yellow lights. There are stars above Earth too.
2The blue lights are on fishing boats. The yellow lights are in cities in Indonesia. The picture is from the International Space Station. The station was above the Banda Sea.
3The picture was taken on 20 September 2026. It is not a picture from today. The camera took the picture over a long time. The lights look like lines. NASA calls the lines from the stars star trails. Look at the colours. Can you find the blue lights?
