Polish Greetings and Introductions
By the end, you can greet someone, say your name, ask the other person’s name, and close the conversation politely.

Notice the pattern
Cześć, Jak masz na imię?, and Jak się masz? are casual. With unfamiliar adults, begin with Dzień dobry and use polite address; this first lesson keeps the polite system modest.
Polish makes a clear distinction between casual conversation and polite adult address.
